Robert Heinlein, one of my all-time favorite authors, not just in the science fiction genre, seemed to have some bad habits of speech. You see, he was not PC very often. In fact, from what I've read, he was pretty straight forward about good news, bad news and what he thought of a situation.
Heinlein told the midshipmen what he believed they needed to hear.
Mr. Heinlein didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. That's the function, some would it is the job, of the politician. Heinlein told them what they needed to hear. There's a big difference there for those so inclined.
Read Mike's article and see tell me what you think.
God Bless Ya'll !
